IAS officer Usha Padhee Becomes First Woman To Be Appointed As DG, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security

Odisha-cadre IAS officer Usha Padhee was appointed as DG, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security. She is the first woman to hold the post.

Usha Padhee is a 1996-batch IAS officer. She has been on central deputation since July 2015. She was serving as joint secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
