Dr. Kalam’s Mortal Remains arrive in Delhi, PM, President pay Tribute

President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President Dr. Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and Chiefs of all three Services – Army, Indian Air Force and Navy, are present at the IGI Airport, New Delhi to receive the mortal remains of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Tri-Service Guard of Honour was given to the ‘Missile Man of India’.

Delhi’s L-G Najeeb Jung, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and many other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. Dr. Kalam’s body will be taken to his 10, Rajaji Marg residence where people will be able to pay him their last respect. His funeral will be held tomorrow at his ancestral village, Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu.
