Mortal Remains of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam being taken to Rameswaram

The mortal remains of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam are being taken to Tamil Nadu on a special C-130 military aircraft. The body will be taken to Madurai first and then it will reach Rameswaram by another IAF helicopter. The mortal remains will arrive in Rameswaram this afternoon. People can pay their last respect till evening.

The state funeral will take place at 11 AM tomorrow. PM Narendra Modi and many other Union Ministers and Chief Ministers are expected to attend the funeral.
