‘Ek Hasina Thi’ Season 2 Not Ruled Out

The popular TV Show, ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ on Star Plus came to an end on December 20. But, the producers ended the show with a suspense, which raised hopes that they will be back with a sequel or Season 2 of the serial.

‘Ek Hasina Thi’, which was being telecast at 8 PM (Monday to Saturday), had made its debut on April 14, 2014. The star cast, story and the theme received huge traction among the viewers. Even the people, who hate to watch TV serials, had given a thumbs up to it.

Produced by Prem Krishen, ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ was loosely based on the American series ‘Revenge’, albeit with an Indian touch. Sanjeeda Sheikh (Durga Thakur), Vatsal Sheth (Shaurya Goenka), Simone Singh (Sakshi Goenka), Ayub Khan (Rajnath Goenka) and Bhuvnesh Man (Dev Goenka) impressed upon the viewers, keeping them glued to the TV sets from Day 1. Most viewers did not afford to lose even a single episode.

It is believed that the show will be back on TV after a few months with Sharuya Goenka planning revenge on Durga Thakur. The episode ended with a mysterious phone call, which shocked Durga Thakur, as she heard the ‘notorius’ whistle of Shaurya Goenka on the other side.
