ICAI organizes Seminar on CARO-2015 in BhubaneswarBhubaneswar, May 23: The Bhubaneswar Branch of Eastern India Regional Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organized One day Seminar on “Reporting requirement , CARO-2015 & Depreciation under Companies Act 2013” on 23rd May, 2015 at the Branch Auditorium, Bhubaneswar.

Two session of the Seminar chaired by CA. Rajib Sekhar Sahoo, and CA. Arun Kumar Sabat Past Chairman, Bhubaneswar Branch, and with Distinguished Speakers CA. Vivek Newatia, and CA. Animesh Mukhopadhyay Kolkata have elaborated the topic and deliberated  about the CARO- 2015 & New Depreciation requirement under the Companies Act, 2013 Auditor’s report/ Directors’ report/ Companies Amendment Act/ Recent Changes under Companies and also the auditors role under the recent amended requirement of auditor’s report and requirement for directors report. The newly introduced provisions for the companies Act of depreciation have significant impact on the corporate profit with focus on useful life concept from the earlier rate based report. The reporting requirements of the auditors have also undergone radical change with the introduction of amendment.

The seminar was attended by 150 delegates from Bhubaneswar and witnessed a very knowledge intensive and interactive session.
