KIIT University Celebrates 66th Republic Day

66th Republic Day was celebrated in KIIT University. On this occasion Lieutenant General (Retd.) Kapileswar Prasad Dhal Samanta hoisted the National Flag and took salute in parade as Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering Gen. Dhal Samanta said, KIIT is the only organization that doesn’t have follow other’s model, but create models for others.

He also said, our constitution has given us enormous rights. When we utilize our right we should conscious about our duties towards our motherland. Dr.Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, everybody should be aware of his/her duties towards motherland.

He advised students to do some more for the nation apart from their study. Among others Saswati Bal, President, KIIT & KISS; R N Dash, Secretary; Prof. P P Mathur, VC, KIIT University, Dr. Sasmitarani Samanta, Registrar; Indresh Kumar; Suresh Jain, Dr. Mun-Yun Lee, Chairman, Seoil University, officials & students of KIIT & KISS were present. On this occasion best staff award for the year 2014 were given to officials for their outstanding performances. Students of various schools of KIIT group of Institute and KISS performed cultural programmes.
