Mother’s Public School Students win ‘Smart City Bhubaneswar’ contest

Bhubaneswar, Nov 19: The Planning for smart city Bhubaneswar is catching pace. Mother’s Public School is a key stakeholder in this process and organised a smart city lab in the school premises on Wednesday. This lab gave an opportunity to the students to showcase their thinking and creative skills.

Students of std VIII, IX and X participated with great enthusiasm. The programme started with Sulagna Pattnaik of class X welcoming all to the smart city lab with her ideas of a smart city. C. Payal Patra and Shamreen Parween of class VIII whose model had won the first prize in the smart city Bhubaneswar contest held in the school shared their idea of smart city Bhubaneswar.

Mr. Bhabani Chayeni, Additional Commissioner Enforcement, BDA graced the occasion and shared his vision of Bhubaneswar as a smart city. Mr. Preeti Prada, National Head of Hamara Bachpan enlightened the students about the different activities of smart city Bhubaneswar campaign. Ms. Anwikshika Das, knowledge manager of Hamara Bachpan distributed “idea boxes” among the students where every student wrote his/her ideas of smart city Bhubaneswar.
