Morgan Stanley predicts 7.5% GDP Growth for India in 2018

ONI Bureau: While the critics remain skeptical about the 6.3% GDP growth registered by India in Q2 and called it an aberration, the Morgan Stanley has brought more cheer to the Modi Govt with a prediction that GDP may rise further in 2018 and 2019.

As per the statement released today, the global financial services major has predicted the real GDP growth to accelerate from 6.3 per cent this year to 7.5 per cent in 2018 and further to 7.7 per cent in 2019.

The brokerage firm says that private capital spending in India is on the path of recovery, as demand conditions are improving post demonetisation and GST implementation.
