AgustaWestland Case: Former IAF Chief SP Tyagi grants Bail

The Patiala House Court bench in Delhi granted bail to former Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief SP Tyagi on Monday who was arrested in 3,600 crore AgustaWestland chopper scam case.

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Special Judge Arvind Kumar allowed Tyagi’s bail plea on a personal bond of Rs two lakh and one surety of like amount.

Notably, 71-year old Tyagi and his cousin Sanjeev and Khaitan were arrested on December 9 by the CBI in connection with the AgustaWestland case.

However, the bail applications of Tyagi’s cousins are still pending before the court.
