Angry People clash with Cops at Barimula Ashram in Kendrapara

Tension prevailed the outside Barimula Ashram in Kendrapara. Mob tried to barge into the Ashram, resulting in a clash with police personnel. They pelted stones at the cops, who retaliated win lathicharge. The angry cops were seen damaging the bikes and cycles of the protesters too. District Collector and SP are at the spot to monitor the situation.

People should not try to take the law into their hand. That will trigger a massive law and order situation. Meanwhile, a three-member Crime Branch team will visit Kendrapara tomorrow to launch a probe into the entire controversy.
