BJP reaches out to Congress, Special Session likely to pass GST Bill

After failing to get the smooth passage of GST Bill in Rajya Sabha because of Parliament washout, the BJP has reached out to the Congress to get consent for calling a special session of the Parliament to pass the bill, which is scheduled to be implemented from April 1, 2016. The Congress has reportedly suggested some amendments to the bill.
