Cattle Smuggler beaten to death in Himachal, 4 Others Arrested

Cow-BeefA cattle smuggler from Uttar Pradesh, identified as Noman, was beaten to death by residents of Nahan, Himachal Pradesh on charges of cattle smuggling. Four of his accomplices, all Muslims, were arrested by the police.

The cops found Noman, a resident of Saharanpur, in critical condition. He was rushed to the hospital, but the doctors failed to save his life. His relative Imran Asgar alleged that Noman was beaten up by Bajrang Dal activists.

The police found the truck, which carried smuggled cows. At least 10 cows were rescued. The cops arrested the four people under Section 8 of the Himachal Pradesh Cow Slaughter Act and Section 11 of the Animal Cruelty Act.
