Colombo Test: India finish Day 3 at 70/1, extend Lead to 157

Despite losing Lokesh Rahul early, India recovered well to finish Day 3 of the Colombo Test at 70/1 to extend their lead to 157. Murali Vijay (39*) and Ajinkya Rahane (28*) are at the crease. Earlier, Sri Lanka scored 306 in the first innings in reply to India’s 393.

India is now in a position from where it can call the shots. It requires a lot of efforts from Sri Lankan bowlers to stage a comeback.
