Dr. Kalam’s Mortal Remains reach Rameswaram, Thousands bid Adieu

Former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s mortal remains reach Rameswaram on a special military chopper from Madurai. Earlier, the body was flown to Madurai from New Delhi in a C-130 IAF aircraft. Thousands of people lined up in Rameswaram to get the last glimpse of the departed soul. Dr. Kalam’s body will be kept for ‘public darshan’ now and his funeral will be held tomorrow at 11 AM with full state honours.
