Kansas Shooting: Last rites of Srinivas Kuchibhotla performed today

Last rites ceremony of the Indian Engineer Srinivas Kuchibhotla (32), who was shot dead at a bar in Olathe city, Kansas last week was performed in Hyderabad today.

The mortal remains of Srinivas were flown to Hyderabad last night. His wife Sunayana and his brother accompanied his body from US to India.

Along with his family members, Andhra Pradesh Ministers and police officials were also present at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to receive the mortal remains of the Indian techie.

It is to be noted that, the 32-year-old was shot dead by US Navy veteran Adam Purinton (52) who opened fire on Kuchibhotla and his friend Alok Madasani last Wednesday.
