Kerala House in New Delhi under scanner over ‘Beef Curry’

Kerala-HouseThe Kerala House in New Delhi has removed ‘Beef Curry’ from its menu and clarified that they never served the banned item. They sought to explain that beef meant ‘buffalo meat’ only. However, the Kerala Government has ordered a probe into the incident.

The Delhi Police had questioned he canteen staff yesterday and deployed cops to prevent any law and order problem after the complaint was launched by a little known group, Hindu Sena that Kerala House was serving beef.

While liberals, Kerala CM Oommen Chandy and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) questioned Delhi Police’s decision to rush in and conduct a raid without informing the concerned authorities, cops clarified that their only intention was to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incident.
