IRS officer Sanjay Kumar Mishra appointed ED Chief

ONI Bureau:  India Revenue Service Officer Sanjay Kumar Mishra on Saturday appointed as the new chief of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for three months in additional capacity.

A 1984-batch Indian Revenue Service officer of the Income Tax cadre, Mishra will take over from Karnal Singh whose tenure at the agency ends on Sunday.

Official sources said SK Mishra who posted as chief commissioner of Income Tax in Delhi at present and has not been empanelled as an additional secretary in the central government yet.
