BJP begins gheraoing all block offices in Odisha from today

ONI Bureau:  To protest against corruption and misappropriation of central funds, the State unit of BJP started three-day gherao of all block offices in Odisha from today.

Earlier at a press meet, BJP State general secretary Bhrugu Buxipatra informed that BJP will resort to peaceful protest in front of all block offices across the State against corruption in various departments and alleged ‘PC’ collections.

Alleging corruption in selection of new beneficiaries under the State Food Security Scheme (SFSS), BJP will continue to pressurise the Government to mention the name of the beneficiaries in public domain for greater transparency.
