Nation remembers Missile Man Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on his Birth Anniversary

ONI Bureau:  Nation paid tributes to Missile Man of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on his 87th birth anniversary today.

Born on October 15, 1931 at Tamil Nadu’s Rameswaram, Dr Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam served as the India’s 11th President between 2002 and 2007.

Kalam, a Bharat Ratna-recipient, who had a wonderful scientific career with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), had played a pivotal role durig Pokhran-II nuclear test in 1998.
