Jajpur Dist Admin raids Illegal Mining Sites at Dankari Hills

ONI Bureau:  The District administration officials along with Superintendent of Police and Revenue Department officials conducted raids on illegal mining quarries at Dankari hills forest area in Dharmasala tehsil of Jajpur on Monday.

Section 144 of CrPC (prohibitory orders) has also been clamped to maintain law and order situation.

Earlier, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has ordered to probe on a petition seeking direction to close down illegal mining activities at Dankari hills involving black stone quarry, citing threat to the surrounding of human life.
