10.17 acres of Swargadwar land restored in favour of Lord Jagannath

ONI Bureau:  The Puri Tehsildar Court on Tuesday directed to transfer the possession of 10.17 encroached Swargadwar land to Lord Jagannath, Puri after abolition of 170 cases. Earlier, 11.143 acres of land were recovered.

It is to be noted that the state government has taken steps to retrieve more than 60,000 acres of land belonging to Srimandir that have been encroached upon across Odisha and has been grabbed by land mafias and influential persons.
