14 bogies of Goods Train derailed near Jagatsinghpur

Insight Bureau:  As many as fourteen bogies of a goods train loaded with imported coal derailed near Banabihari Gwalipur Railway Station in Jagatsinghpur district on Friday morning.

The incident took place between Goraknath- Raghunathpur railway stretch. That is in a distance of 45 km from Cuttack and 38 km from Paradeep. Reportedly, the open wagon was heading towards Cuttack from Paradeep. However, no casualties has been reported from the spot yet.
