35 Govt Employees in Odisha suspended for negligence in Election Duty

As many as 35 Odisha Government employees suspended for skipping Poll duty without any notice in ongoing five-phase Panchayat elections in the state.

The Kendrapara district administration have been directed the departmental heads to place the officials under suspension for negligence in poll duty.

Kendrapara Collector Muralidhar Mallick said that any negligence with regard to election duty will be sternly dealt with and strong action will be taken against them.
