Arvind Kejriwal remembers Eid, ignores Rath Yatra

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who pursues Prime Ministerial ambitions and trying to establish his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) PAN-India, has disappointed people of Odisha by ignoring Lord Jagannath’s world famous Rath Yatra.

Despite several requests and reminders from aware citizens from Odisha, Kejriwal did not bother to wish people on the occasion of Rath Yatra, but took to Twitter to wish Eid in the night.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi greeted people on Twitter on the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra or Ratha Jatra.

It’s not confirmed whether Kehriwal does not like Hindu tradition and culture. But, he had recently attended an Iftar and was seen doing ‘Ibadat’. Hope his Odisha colleagues would advise him to respect Odia tradition and culture if he wants to reach out to the people here. For Odias, Lord Jagannath is not a Hindu deity, but the symbol of culture and heritage.
