Berhampur University declares sine die following Student Unrest

ONI Bureau:  The Berhampur University declared sine die on Saturday following student unrest in the campus after cancellation of Students’ Union Election.

The students have been asked to vacate the hostels by 10 am.

Tension erupted after the supporters of General Secretary aspirant Ajit Swain vandalized the campus last night protesting rejection of Swain’s candidature. Earlier, the authorities rejected nomination papers of Swain citing his criminal record.
