Beware Romeos in Koraput! ASP Sagarika Nath is here!

ONI Bureau:  Beware Romeos! Under the guidance of ASP Sagarika Nath, Koraput has now adopted anti-Romeo squad (ARS) model to check eve-teasing in public and on educational campuses.

The ARS was constituted near schools and colleges to “ensure the safety and security of college-going girls” and “check eve-teasing”.

Anti Romeo squads can let the miscreant warning, can inform parents and even take criminal action if a complaint is filed.

The ASP, Sagarika Nath earlier urged everyone to unite against child sexual abuse & join the awareness campaign – ‘Paree Pain Katha Tiye’ (A word for little angel).

Earlier Sagarika Nath flagged off special patrol vehicle for a special programme – Jagruti – to ensure safety of women in Koraput.
