BJD’s ‘Jansampark Padayatra’ a Public Stunt: Biswabhusan

Bhubaneswar, Oct 8: Terming BJD’s Jansampark Padayatra” as public stunt, senior BJP leader and former minister Biswabhusan Harichandan said that the state government has failed addressing farmers plight as many districts were affected in drought.

He alleged that the state government has been spending public funds on the so-called  ‘Padayatra’ for mass awareness about its achievements.  The Padayatra of BJD lacks the true spirit of mass awareness, said to media persons here at a press conference.

Harichandan said that during freedom movement, father of the nation Gandhiji used to organize walkathons for public awareness and people used to follow the leader. On the other hand, the BJD government using this approach for their promotion of its activities, he alleged.
