BJP calls for 12 hour Bhubaneswar Bandh on Dec 21; seeks Mayor’s Resignation

Demanding the probe into the video tape allegedly featuring BMC Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena and his involvement in the mysterious death of Rishi, BJP has called for 12 hours dawn to dusk Bhubaneswar bandh on December 21.

The strike will begin from 6 am to 6 pm on Wednesday. Emergency services including hospitals, medicine shops, train services and ambulance service will be exempted from the bandh.

It is to be noted that BJP called for 2 hours Chaka Bandh in 103 out of 112 urban civic areas and all Notified Area Councils (NACs) of the state today demanding resignation of Mayor.
