BJP Mahila Morcha takes out BJD’s Funeral Rally over Kunduli Suicide

ONI Bureau:  The BJP Mahila Morcha, the women wing of the saffron party on Thursday took out a funeral rally (Kokei Shobhajatra) following the suicide of an alleged gang-rape victim at Kunduli in Koraput district.

A large number of women activists led by Mahila Morcha President Prabhati Parida took out the rally, symbolising ‘death’ of the Naveen Patnaik Government, raising slogans against the State government for its failure to provide justice to Sasmita.

The BJP Mahila Morcha also announced to take out the rally in its 1,000 mandals across the state in next 11 days to press their demand to hand over the alleged gang rape case to CBI for a fair and impartial probe.
