BJYM’s 12-hr bandh hits normal life in Bhatli

ONI Bureau:   Normal life disrupted at Bhatli town in Bargarh district today due to a 12-hour bandh call given by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Morcha activists, protesting arrest of Irasis Acharya, the State Secretary of BJYM yesterday.

While shops and educational establishments remained closed in the area, movement of vehicular traffic also remained disrupted in many places.

A large number of commuters were seen stranded in various places in the town.

Worth mentioning, Bargarh police on Thursday arrested Irasis Acharya in connection with a firing at Bhatli in Bargarh district.
