ONI Bureau: Odisha School College Teachers and Employees United Forum today deferred its 59-day-old strike till November 30 after the State government assured to look into their demands.
After talking with Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi at a meeting, the Block-grant teachers today decided to postpone strike for temporary period, reportedly.
As per sources, government assured the teachers to provide salary of 46 days and clear 30-day salary dues of college teachers.
The block-grant teachers had been demanding fulfillment of demands including equal pay for equal work, regularisation of jobs, full aid and benefits of 7th pay Commission, respectively.
