Bomb Attack outside Congress Bhavan, 4 Injured

Congress Party in Odisha continued to receive shockers one after another. Widespread violence and crude bomb blasts were reported from outside Congress Bhavan this afternoon. Heavy police deployment has been made to prevent any untoward incidents.

At least four people were reportedly injured in the clashes between two student groups during the student polls. Although Congress leaders tried to put up a volt face and termed it as the handiwork of non-students, the Congress yet again sent a very bad signal to the people of the state.

The injured have been rushed to hospitals. Apart from hurling bombs, the miscreants also set the ballot boxes on fire. The police is investigating the matter. Senior Congressmen are reaching the spot to assess the situation.
