CM Naveen Patnaik Stresses on Achieving ‘Zero Infection Target’ in Odisha

As the COVID-19 cases continue to soar in at least four states in India, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has sought cooperation of all citizens to achieve ‘zero infection target.

“With your cooperation, Odisha is in a good position in containing Corona. In this context, the World Health Organisation has praised. Our daily rate of infection is below 100 now. Zero infection in Odisha is our target.”

He warned against showing ayn complacency as the COVID threat still exists. Citing the lockdown imposed in Maharashtra, the CM said the only way to avoid lockdown is to be highly cautious.

“I request you all to keep on strictly following the Covid guidelines. While venturing out, wear mask properly. Back home, wash hands with soap meticulously.”

CM Patnaik also said that he had directed the administration to strictly ensure implementation of COVID19 guidelines.
