Congress leader arrested for slapping ZP Chairman in Rayagada

In yet another poll related disputes in the State, Gunupur Police today arrested Congress leader Ketaki Gamango and his husband for allegedly slapping newly elected Rayagada Zilla Parishad Chairman Purushottam Gamango.

Ketaki Gamango, the former Zilla Parishad Chairman, reportedly slapped Gamango during a victory rally in Gunupur.

Former ZP Chairman said that she was not happy with Purushottam over the Zilla Parishad Chairman ticket distribution during ZP election and confessed that she slapped Gamango. However, Purushottam Gamango denied the incident.
