Dama Rout vs BJP: Mahila Morcha Workers clash with Police

Insight News Desk: While trying to barge into Odisha Minister Dr. Damodar Rout’s residence in Bhubaneswar over his derogatory remarks against “Anganwadi”, the BJP Mahila Morcha cadres led by Pravati Parida clashed with police deployed for the Minister’s security.

The cops dragged the Mahila Morcha workers and took them away in vans. Several Mahila Morcha leaders and cadres are still under detention. The BJP Mahila Morcha had earlier warned Dama Rout to apologise for his remark ‘Swami Chhadi, Anganwadi’ within 24 hours.
