East Coast Railway introduces Three New Trains from Odisha

East Cost Railway OdishaEast Cost Railway (ECoR) will roll out three trains including two weekly express and one daily passenger train linking to Santragachchi (West Bengal) and Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) from Paradeep and Gunupur in the state. The Railway ministry decided to dedicate three trains as announced in the last year’s Railway budget.The newly introduced trains are – Paradeep-Santragachhi, Paradeep-Visakhapatnam and Gunupur to Visakhapatnam (passenger train). From Monday, the express train – Paradeep-Santragachhi and Gunupur-Visakhapatnam-Gunupur passenger will be operative, while Paradeep-Visakhapatnam, will be operative from Feb 11.

Today, a special train will run between Paradeep and Santragachhi, the express train will leave Paradeep at 6pm after its inauguration. It will reach Santragacchi in the wee hours of next day at 3 am and it will start from there at 5am. However, the regular timing would be differing from the inaugural timing, and the service would start from Feb 16 from Paradeep and on Feb 17 from Santragachhi.

Gunupur to Visakhapatnam passenger daily train will be introduced on Monday. A special train will leave from Gunupur at 6 pm in the evening and regular service would be commenced from Vishakhapatnam from Feb 10. Similarly, the Visakhapatnam-Paradeep-Visakhapatnam Express will be dedicated on Feb 11 and the services will begin from Feb 15 from Vishakhapatnam.
