Fire safety notice to 10 malls in Bhubaneswar for violating norms

ONI Bureau:  The Fire Services Department on Tuesday has served notices to ten shopping malls in Bhubaneswar for violating fire safety norms.

The fire services directorate earlier inspected these malls after a fire broke out at a shopping mall near Damana on January 4.

The mall authorities will intimate the concerned department after complying with the rules within 60 days as they have been given a time of two months for upgrading fire safety measures.
