Five People killed in Hooch Tragedy in Sambalpur

Bhubaneswar, Oct 29: Five people in Kunchinda area in Sambalpur died after allegedly consuming spurious liquor. According to reports, during Dussehra festival they drank spurious liquor in the Kuchinda area.

The deceased persons were identified at Malu Sahu, Rohit Nayak, Taju Bag, Niranjan Bag and Niranjan Sahu.  Police arrested one Sunil Das of Paruabhadi, who said to be a trader of liquors, on the charges of selling spurious liquor. Out of five deceased persons belong to Sambalpur and Bargarh districts. Police has been investigating further into the case.
