Four Dead in Gas Leakage At Rourkela Steel Plant

At least four workers died in a toxic gas leakage at Rourkela Steel Plant. The incident occurred in the wee hours of Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Babu Panda, Abhimanyu Saha, Rabi Sahu and Ganesh Pylo.

The gas leakage was reported from the Coal Chemical Department of the Rourkela Steel Plant.

Several others are said to be affected from the toxic gas leakage and have been admitted at Ispat General Hospital. The reason of gas leakage is yet to be ascertained.
