Gajalaxmi Puja begins with religious fervour across Odisha

ONI Bureau:   Gajalaxmi Puja of Goddess Laxmi is being celebrated with much religious fervour at various places across the state.

As the day is also observed as the birthday of Laxmi, devotees thronged several puja pandals to pay the goddess of wealth.

Goddess Laxmi, the deity of wealth and prosperity, is being worshipped in different pandals especially in Dhenkanal and Kendrapara. Besides dazzling lights and decorative gates are adding to the festive spirit across the state. A total of 39 pandals have come up in Dhenkanal this year.
