Heavy Rain submerges Garage Chhack area in Capital City

Following incessant rains overnight, a culvert has been collapsed at Garage Chhack area in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday morning.

The rainwater flowed into most of the nearby residential houses and ground floor of the Kedar Gouri Apartment.

As roads have been submerged in overflowing water, normal life has been disrupted in this locality.

Local MLA and Tourism Minister Ashok Panda along with BMC Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena visited the area to take stock of the situation.
