India successfully test-fires Agni-V from Odisha Coast

agni-vIndia successfully test-fires it’s indigenously developed nuclear capable intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) Agni-V from Abdul Kalam Island in Odisha at 11.05 am on Monday.

India’s longest range nuclear delivery system missile tested today for the fourth and final time, strike range over 6,000 kms.

The missile was developed by the the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).  It is about 17-metre long, 2-metre wide and has launch weight of around 50 tonnes.

Reportedly, the missile has previously been tested in 2012, 2013 and 2015.
