Jagamohan repair: Odisha Law Minister to convene meeting

Odisha Law Minister Arun Sahu has called a core committee meeting, following the rejection of a proposal for repairing of the Jagamohana at Srimandir.

Notably, the Director General of the Archeological Survey of India has rejected the estimated expenditure of of Rs 2.5 crore for the repairing of Jagannath temple.

The Jagamohana core committee had planned to purchase 64 tonnes of steel to repair beams and pillars. But the Director General (DG) of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has rejected the proposal.
