Japanese Encephalitis claims 119 lives in Malkangiri Dist

The death toll due to Japanese Encephalitis (JE) in Malkangiri district climbed to 119 on Saturday morning.

The children between the age group of 1 to 15 would be given JE vaccination across the four districts in the state.

Though the date of vaccination is not decided yet, the State government has planned to vaccinate 26 lakh children in four districts including Malkangiri.
