Jauna Murmu and Srabani Nanda from Odisha win Golds at SAG 2016

Srabani NandaThe women sprinters from Odisha brought accolade for the state today, as they won two gold medals and one silver at the South Asian Games 2016.

Jauna Murmu won the gold in 400m hurdles first and then added another yellow metal to her kitty in the 4×400 women’s relay.

Srabani Nanda, who had won silver medal in 100m, won a gold in 200m race. Dutee Chand, who had won bronze in 100m, got a silver in 200m.

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik has congratulated Jauna, Srabani and Dutee on their achievements at the SAG 2016 and wished them more success.
