Kalia remains stable, taken out of Neuro ICU

Insight Bureau:  One of the separated conjoined twins of Kandhamal district, Kalia has been taken out of the ICU and shifted to Special Ward, informed by AIIMS Doctors on Monday.

Earlier Kalia has shifted to general ward but as some plastic surgery was conducted on Kalia by a surgeon after he has moved out of the ICU, again he has been moved to Neuro ICU.

It  is to be noted that after the successful completion of 16-hour-long second phase cranial separation surgery,  Jaga and Kalia both are now in a stable condition.

AIIMS, New Delhi revealed that 20 Surgeons and 10 Anaesthetists were involved in the phase II separation surgery of conjoined twins.
