Karateka L. Ramesh Kumar from Rayagada wins Gold in Intl Karate Championship

ONI Bureau: In a moment of pride for Rayagada district, Divyang karateka L. Ramesh Kumar of Rayagada have won Gold in the 4th International Karate Championship 2018 organised at the Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata from July 28 to 29.

Ramesh was accorded a grand welcome in Rayagada Railway Station after his arrival to the district.

As many as six countries were participated in the 4th International Karate Championship 2018, organised by All India Seishinkai Shito Ryu Karate Do Federation in which Ramesh clinched the Gold by defeating Bangladesh in final round.
