Kharabela Swain files PIL seeking CBI Probe into Kunduli Tragedy

ONI Bureau: Utkal Bharat President and Former MP Kharavela Swain on Thursday filed PIL in Orissa High Court demanding CBI inquiry over Kunduli Gang Rape and suicide.

The PIL also included Chief Secretary Aditya Padhi, Home Secretary, DGP, CBI, Koraput SP and Potangi IIC.

Earlier today, Kunduli Gang Rape victim Sasmita’s brother filed a case under Section 1 CC with Koraput district Sessions and Special court against 11 persons including DIG, SP and IIC.

It is to be noted that the Sachetan Nagarik Manch on Tuesday has filed a case against Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik holding him responsible for the suicide of Sasmita.
