Kolkata girl gang-raped on pretext of Job in Odisha

ONI Bureau:  In a shameful incident, a girl from Kolkata was allegedly gang-raped inside a room in Konark area in Puri district.

As per report, more than 12 persons raped her for around 10 days after she was taken to Odisha by a woman on the pretext of facilitating job and was allegedly engaged into prostitution, police said.

The incident came to light when the victim asked for help on the roof of the house. Following which the locals informed the police and the survivor rescued by the Fire Services personnel today.

Meantime, the house owner and the woman who brought her are absconding from the spot.
