Kunduli Tragedy: Indefinite Hunger Strike by Rutuparna Mohanty enters Day 3

ONI Bureau:  Protesting against the alleged gang rape and suicide of a minor girl Sasmita at Kunduli in Koraput district and demand to hand over the alleged gang rape case to CBI for a fair and impartial probe Human rights lawyer and social activist Rutuparna Mohanty have been sitting on a dharna and indefinite hunger strike that entered into 3rd consecutive day, today.

Their movement is also in support of prohibition of liquor in Odisha under the Odisha Prohibition Act, 1956 during the tenure of Nabakrushna Choudhury and against “Justice delayed is justice denied” as timely justice is not provided to the sufferer in the State that violates human rights and faith of people on Law and Justice.

Over 1000 members of maaghara foundation along with women activists from different districts were also joined the movement.
